Attending the opening of the new Ruth Bader Ginsberg wing at the Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn

Attended the opening of the new Ruth Bader Ginsberg wing at the Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, preceded by the unveiling of the statue of the Icon and the Idol of liberal New York. Made in Australia, at that. RBG was rather small in size, this one is huge for the area – probably made for a public square or some such. Well, the James Madison HS that gave us RBG, Sens. Charles Schumer, Jerry Nadler (all D’s), Chris Rock and by the by – FIVE Nobel laureates – is now #5,223 in the nation; #467 out of 542 high schools in NYC; with college readiness at spectacular 34.2%. That’s the actual inheritance these fine public servants have left us with. Infuriating, when you think about it.
Oh, and the Republican guests do not get the goodie bags.
