KNOW THIS: I love America and I love New York.

about

LET ME TELL YOU

What brought me here

I was born in 1960 in the city of Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Central Asia – then part of the dreaded Soviet Union. When the Nazis took over Ukraine in 1941, my parents’ families escaped to Tashkent.

Being Jewish, they had little chance to survive.

My grandfather Sholem fought in WWII, came back with terrible serious wounds, and was one of the main influences in my life, along with my grandmother Eva, grandparents Sarah and Mendel, may they all rest in peace. Most of Sholem Dashevsky ’s family left Russia for the United States in the beginning of the 20th century, yet he stayed very close with his sisters in this country.

I grew up in a historically multinational and multiracial place, the main intersection of the ancient Silk Road, and learned early in life how to make friends as well as how to stand your own ground.

I have a Master’s degree in architecture from the Polytechnic Institute in Tashkent, Uzbekistan;  I’m an award–winning screenwriter and a documentary filmmaker; after coming to the United States I became active in online and off-line multimedia arts, I’ve licensed my New York–themed designs overseas, worked with pioneers of the mass multimedia online roleplaying games; created multimedia presentations for dozens of New York restaurants, various small businesses, celebrities as well as for Fortune 100 companies.

But I felt that the human interaction component was missing – along with the fact that the majority of the internet jobs have been outsourced overseas or automated.

So I went back to my language skills – I wrote articles for books on this city, worked in PR, became a NYS Courts qualified interpreter, worked with a number of high–profile clients from human rights activists for Ukraine to famous New York museums, from foreign businessmen to US Fortune 500 companies, international trade shows and non–profits such as PEN America.

If asked about two most eye-opening experiences in my American life, I would mention working for 7 years as a PR consultant with the bona fide world–famous legend of American hospitality  “Katz’s Delicatessen”, now 134 years young and still on the Lower East Side corner of Ludlow and E. Houston Streets; and assisting as an interpreter in various legal cases in the Tri–State, including Rikers Island and courtrooms at all levels and venues.

I came to the US in 1996, bringing with me a deep sense of respect and gratitude, curiosity, and amazement.

A lot has changed around me, but my take on reality remains the same.

If asked about the most important experiences in my life before coming to the US on June 28, 1996 with my wife Irina and daughter Yeva – I would list filming for a documentary in a refugee camp in Afghanistan in December of 1994, and dreaming of leaving the Communist hellhole, USSR.

And then came the “45” – the historic, heroic presidency of Donald J. Trump, a unique lesson of what this country can do in a very short time, if guided by a skillful pilot towards the light and bona fide achievements of Capitalism, Liberty, and genuine American excitement and grit – and the mistakes that were made that deserve serious analysis.

And at the fourth year of Donald J. Trump’s Presidency the pandemic and other events of 2020 broke out.

I predict that the full and objective analysis of what took place would puzzle historians and make a lot of money for conspiracy theorists regardless of which side they would take.

Capitalism, Liberty, Americanism were summarily replaced with what I consider a creeping, putrid Socialism with “nothing is built, nothing is back, nothing is better”. It was a very, very long process that has  brought us to this point in our history; it has crept into our lives over many decades of American prosperity.

It looks like if we don’t right this majestic vessel “America”, future generations will have to pay an increasingly steep price to Make America Great Again.

Or this country might simply cease to exist forever.

From deaths in nursing homes to obscene lockdowns, Democrat leadership made the COVID pandemic of 2020 drastically worse.

All mandates, un-Constitutional emergency powers and vaccine requirements must end immediately.

Anyone fired by government because of these draconian mandates must be reinstated with full backpay.

All public and private employers must comply with all existing medical privacy rules and regulations.

No more emergency power grabs in any shape or form.

I came to the US in 1996, bringing with me a deep sense of respect and gratitude, curiosity, and amazement.

A lot has changed around me, but my take on reality remains the same.

I don’t want us – the American people – to feel besieged, abandoned, neglected, helpless and bewildered in our own country; I’m sick and tired of how we are played by the “democrat-media-governmental complex”.

In order to achieve “a more perfect union”, as the Founding Fathers put it – time has come for US ALL to roll up our sleeves and do our part in Saving New York – and Making America Great Again.

Stop. Think. Vote Republican.

Issues

Priorities before Pronouns

Our Nation is facing unprecedented challenges that predominantly come from within, that much is clear. Here are some of them, staring us in the face. It’s time to get up, think together and   vote for Law and Order, US Constitution, Sanity, and Prosperity. Vote Republican.

ONE: LAW AND ORDER

We need realistic measures to return this place to normalcy, and a solid, serious approach to restoring sanity on our streets and in the subway.

1

TWO: PROTECT OUR CONSTITUTION

Written in 1777, ratified in 1788 the United States Constitution carried our country for 234 years. We Americans Like It This Way.

2

THREE: FIX OUR SCHOOLS

School violence is unacceptable. Bullying in schools is a disgrace to the education professionals who work there.

3

FOUR: PROTECT OUR CHILDREN

This goes along with all of the above. Parental rights must not be infringed. If necessary, our schools must be protected at the level our Government is.

4

FIVE: ENERGY SECURITY

The United States must become energy–independent; this is a priority; this is our safety net, our security, our present and our future.

5

SIX: AMERICA’S BUSINESS

Let’s win in 2022 and 2024 and get to WORK – the economy is the centerpiece of American Prosperity. We must curb inflation, this must be another priority.

6

SEVEN: FOREIGN POLICY

With his historic "Abraham Accord" President Trump has shown the world a way to create new alliances based on mutual respect and the desire to live in peace.
